The environment and sound design on Still Wakes the Deep is some of the best I've seen in a LONG time. The only downside is that I am TERRIFIED to keep playing! Bravo to Chinese Room for this one. Even better that it's on D1 GamePass!

Okay, Still Wakes the Deep has some amazing horror monster design, animation, and well everything. Really, really cool (and haunting) takes on what might consider some well covered ground. But, it's so well done.

I've never had a horror game move me to tears before but by god, Still Wakes The Deep is fuckin' incredible man. Got me hooked with the Lovecraft horror, got me on the line with the singular set piece that changes over time, and sunk me with the masterfully done (if a tad cliche) ending. Solid 8/10!
